Pilot Medicals
The Civil Aviation Authority requires pilots in New Zealand to have a medical performed by a CAA designated Medical Examiner.
Dr Frank Wurmitzer is a member of the Kāpiti Aero Club and is a qualified AME1 Medical Examiner who can carry out examinations and issue certificates for Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 medicals. He is also able to issue CASA Medicals for those flying in Australia.
Frank is a keen aviator, and is available on a semi-regular basis to conduct aviation medicals during his scheduled weekend visits. This is a very convenient service for club members and visitors alike to get their medicals completed, be it an Initial Issue or a Renewal.
