Flight Commanders

The Kāpiti Aero Club Young Eagles programme relies on club members who volunteer as Flight Commanders to provide amazing flight experiences to the Young Eagles as part of the program.

You will have one or more Young Eagles on board with you and you will have the chance to walk them through what you are doing as part of the journey. This is not intended to be flight instruction and the Young Eagles will not be at the controls, but you will be able to show them what is involved with piloting an aircraft through various routes, airspaces and airports.
